Aroma & Taste: It has a distinct, long-lasting orchid fragrance (unique to Tieguanyin, called "Guanyin charm"). When brewed, the liquor is golden and clear; the taste is mellow, sweet, and smooth, with a quick 回甘 (sweet aftertaste) and a refreshing finish.

Production & Classification: Produced mainly in Anxi (with core regions like Xiping and Xianghua), it’s made via complex processes (e.g., sun-withering, rolling, roasting). It’s commonly categorized into light fragrance type (fresh, floral), strong fragrance type (rich, caramel-like), and aged type (mellow, similar to aged tea).

Cultural & Practical Value: It’s a staple in traditional Gongfu tea ceremonies (popular in southern China) and is prized for both daily drinking and gifting. It’s also known for potential health benefits (e.g., antioxidant, digestion-aiding properties).
